Reservoir Media Management announced today that it has signed a deal with noted pop songwriter Bruce Roberts for his future compositions and works.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Reservoir is already Roberts’ publisher on hit standards such as “No More Tears (Enough is Enough)” and “When The Money’s Gone”. No stranger to the industry, Roberts has worked with the likes of Elton John, Donna Summer, Barbara Streisand and Patti Labelle with his songs topping the charts on numerous occasions throughout an extensive career that spans three decades. Bruce has several new projects underway, including co-writes with J.R. Rotem, Evan Bogart, Sharon Vaughn, and Mark Wright as well as management activities through his Chalkboard Music company which is responsible for Island Def Jam recording artist Kerli.
Roberts and Reservoir are thrilled to continue their collaboration. Roberts commented, “I am extremely pleased to be extending my relationship with Reservoir in this way. We have developed a wonderful working relationship over the past few years and I am very excited to forge forward with an eye on new projects.” Golnar Khosrowshahi, President of Reservoir added, “It is with the help of extraordinarily talented and established writers such as Bruce that we are continuing to grow our business, diversify our catalog and add to our fantastic team. We are now vested in Bruce, past, present, and future.”
