Last night’s special Valentine’s Day episode of Glee featured what teacher Will Schuester (played by Matthew Morrison) deems The World’s Greatest Love Songs. Reservoir Supports MusiCares in 2012

While attending one of Grammy weekend’s biggest galas this past Friday, Reservoir watched today’s biggest artists honour MusiCares Person of the Year, Paul McCartney, by singing Beatles songs and songs from McCartney’s albums Wings and Kisses on the Bottom.

Some stellar performances included Neil Young and Crazy Horse’s rendition of “I Saw Her Standing There”, Foo Fighter’s version of “Jet”, and Duane Eddy’s “And I Love Her”.

Hilarious comedian Eddie Izzard hosted the show and kept everyone in stitches throughout the night as he continuously made references to McCartney’s history. However, the biggest highlight of the night was realizing that the gala raised $6.5 million for the organization which supports musicians during times of distress. MusiCares was the first to arrive in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina to put instruments in the hands of local musicians.

Reservoir Media Management is proud to be supporters of MusiCares 2012.

The song will be included in JoJo’s highly anticipated album Jumping Trains, a work in progress for nearly 5 years, but finally scheduled to be released April 3.

You Will Know Luke James in 2012

Before you begin to wonder “who in the world is Luke James?”, you might already know. Signed to Nate “Danja” Hills label, New Age Rock Star Records (N.A.R.S.), James has penned songs for artists such as Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Britney Spears. Since the release of his single “I Want You”, he has received high praise for his soulful voice and acquired a growing number of fans from outside and inside the music industry, including superstar Beyonce.

A singer/songwriter who grew up in New Orleans, James knew at the age of eleven that he wanted to reach out to people through his music. To him, making music must come from the heart. “If I can’t feel it, I can’t do it”. His philosophy explains the depth of raw emotions displayed on his new single “I Want You”, co-written by Danja.

Predator Ridge Announces Exciting Partnership With Hockey Canada

Predator Ridge, the Okanagan’s premier golf resort community, announced today a preferred partnership alliance with Hockey Canada. The only partnership of its kind in Canada, Predator Ridge will become Hockey Canada’s summer home for this coming season.

The partnership will see Predator Ridge being used as a home base for a number of Hockey Canada’s summer activities, including charity events and meetings with players and sponsors. A heritage building at Predator Ridge will be rebranded as the Hockey Canada Log Cabin, available for group meetings and corporate functions starting April 1, 2012. Additional initiatives and events will be announced in the coming months.

“As a Vernon resident, Predator Ridge member and long-time supporter of Hockey Canada, I think this partnership offers great potential and I look forward to supporting it through events and legacy programs. The Okanagan has always been a hotbed of both sports and this partnership solidifies that leadership position,” says Ken Holland, General Manager and VP of the Detroit Red Wings.
