“Bad Girls” Wins Two Music Video Awards

The music video for “Bad Girls,” the exotic urban-pop track written by Reservoir songwriter-producer Danja and performed by British rapper-singer M.I.A., secured two wins at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. The video won in the Best Cinematography and Best Direction categories. Reservoir congratulates both Danja and M.I.A. for the creation of such a dynamic audio-visual pairing.

2 Chainz on G.O.O.D. Music “Cruel Summer” Compilation

The track listing for Cruel Summer, the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album spearheaded by rapper Kanye West, was released over the weekend to reveal twelve new and current songs.  Reservoir songwriter 2 Chainz appears on three of the album’s compositions: the previously-released single "Mercy" with West, Big Sean, and Pusha T; "The Morning" with Raekwon, Pusha T, Common, CyHi Da Prynce, Kid Cudi, and D’Banj; and "The One" with West, Big Sean, and soul singer Marsha Ambrosius.
